The studio has been FULL of newborn boys lately! There was nothing but boys last year, and then a few girls earlier this year, and now we’re back to boys!

I am so happy to welcome my newest baby planner, Mr. *P* to the world. He was an absolute dream to work with, even at two weeks. He slept through the whole thing and even gave me a few smiles. I can’t wait to watch you grow up, little man!

His eyelashes are soooo long!

This little guy visited me for his 4 month session and I couldn’t get enough of his big bright blue eyes. Aren’t they gorgeous!?

I love this family. I met them for Miss *E*s newborn session a few weeks ago and I had the privilege of doing a family session with them before Daddy deploys. The azaleas were still in full bloom downtown (they’re already gone…bummer) and we managed to make this session work around the weather. Little *E* became one of my new best friends and insisted on walking through the park holding my hand. I was happy to oblige and I can’t wait to play with him more sometime soon.

Presenting Miss *E*. Isn’t she gorgeous!? Her complexion and skin tone are a photographers dream, not to mention all that hair! I’ll be seeing her again this weekend for a family session so stay tuned!

I love negative space…

We had another fabulous maternity session in the beautiful Forsyth Park. I was pleasantly surprised to see that there were already blooms appearing {in FEBRUARY!}. Savannah is amazing in the spring…

I had the pleasure of meeting the *R* Family to squeeze a photography session in before Dad deployed. As most of you know, my husband is in the Army and we have been through three deployments and two overseas tours. I know all too well how important it is to have a family photograph to look at while a loved one is away.
The only morning that we could make this session happen was cold. Freezing would be a better description. In between every set of photos, everyone would scurry to get their coats and blankets. We made it work though and I think the end product is pretty amazing, if I do say so myself.

Sometimes blinks work in my favor and we get great eyelash shots!

I told them to act tough and this is what I got, hahaha!

This mama is just flat out GORGEOUS! We had so much fun doing a studio maternity session, which really focuses on the most important thing. The baby bump. When you choose a studio session vs. an on location session, you’ll end up with a lot of timeless black and white images. Black backgroud, white satin wraps and tank tops=simplicity & beauty.

Marci and Joe were visiting Savannah as a last minute vacation before their family became a party of three. They thought it was the perfect time and they had a perfect backdrop for a maternity photo session. They wanted a mixture of bellies and our beautiful locale, which we achieved around Forsyth Park and the surrounding neighborhoods. I’m so lucky to have met this wonderful couple and I might have to travel to Florida to meet their newest family member when he or she is born. Thank you so much Joe and Marci!

This little guys family called me after they had a bad experience in a chain studio. Luckily I was able to squeeze him into the schedule and I’m so glad it worked out. I was a little nervous because he was almost three weeks old at the time of the session. At around two weeks of age (sometimes younger), babies start to “wake up” and it becomes much more difficult to get them in the deep sleep needed for all of those baby poses. If you are expecting, please please please find your newborn photographer well before your due date so you’re able to capture those precious few days at the very beginning of your babies life. Thank you for listening (reading) my public service announcement. And now on to this sweet boys photos…

Those lashes amaze me!
